With Professor Jeanne Bamberger (MIT Emeritus and Harvard Graduate School of Education), I have been exploring a set of themes: how people think about music, what kinds of things people can think about music, how we learn music, how we teach music, and trying to figure out how to talk about it in the context of doing each of those things.  We have even looked quite a bit at how technology can impact the scene.  I think this has been my most difficult project, and the only one I've been working on from September through May, both in class and as an independent study.
